Supabase servers are located in the United States. By using the Pro plan, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted local storage, and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
AgWise uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate personalized farm management recommendations. When you tap "Get Recommendations," the following information is sent to Anthropic's servers:
Your farm data is processed by Anthropic, PBC, a third-party artificial intelligence company. By using the AI Advisor feature, you consent to your data being transmitted to and processed by Anthropic in accordance with their Privacy Policy, available at https://www.anthropic.com/privacy.
Anthropic may use data submitted to their API to improve their models unless you have opted out under their terms. We recommend reviewing Anthropic's privacy policy and data usage terms.
AI recommendations may incorporate current agricultural news headlines fetched from Google News RSS. These headlines are fetched at the time you request recommendations and are not stored by AgWise beyond the current session.
AI-generated recommendations are stored locally on your device only. Recommendations automatically expire after 3 to 14 days depending on priority. You may dismiss recommendations at any time. We do not store your AI recommendations on our servers.
The AI Advisor feature is optional. You may choose not to use it by simply not tapping "Get Recommendations." If you do not use the AI Advisor, none of your farm data will be sent to Anthropic.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following circumstances:

AgWise is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or sending an SMS notification. Your continued use of AgWise after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
